OUR NEXT PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP MEETING -
Tuesday 28th March 2017
Our next Patient Participation Group meeting will be held on
Tuesday 28th March 2017
1:30pm - 3pm
at Bilston Health Centre
PPG meetings are open to all patients who are registered with Dr Mudigonda's practice.
They are a great way to hear about new services which are being offered in the practice, and are also a chance for you to provide us with your feedback about what we are doing well, what we can improve on, and what changes you would like to see.
We are always working hard to provide our patients with the highest standard of care and we can only do that with your help and suggestions.
If you would like to attend the next PPG meeting, please let a member of staff know either by telephone or when you next visit the surgery. Alternatively, please feel free to turn up on the day of the meeting :)
We really look forward to seeing you at the meeting :)
If you would like to be involved with the PPG but cannot come to meetings, then do not worry..... :)
We now have a dedicated email address which you can use to send in any feedback, comments or suggestions about the practice. We will then make sure that these are raised in the meeting even if you are not able to come in person. You will then be kept up to date and your comments will always be responded to.
If you are not able to come to the meeting in person but would like something to be raised, simply email us at:
(PLEASE NOTE: This email address is only for feedback and comments related to the general running of the practice. Please do not use this address for anything to do personal health care or for abusive or personal comments about members of staff. Any comments relating to these issues may be raised via the practice complaints procedure and will be addressed appropriately.)
THE WOLVERHAMPTON INTEGRATED RESPIRATORY LIFESTYLE PROJECT FOR PEOPLE WITH COPD (TWIRL)
The City of Wolverhampton has set up a support group to help people with COPD get the advice and support that they need to help manage the condition and live well with it.
The Wolverhampton Integrated Respiratory Lifestyle Project (TWIRL) meets
every Wednesday at midday at the Molineux Stadium, North Bank Bar

TWIRL is sure to be an extremely worthwhile source of support for all people with COPD so we would highly recommend attending this event:)
NAMED ACCOUNTABLE GP
All patients at Dr Mudigonda's practice have been allocated a named GP who will be responsible for that patient's overall care.
If you would like to know who has been allocated as your named GP, please contact the practice and one of the reception staff will be happy to inform you of this.
If you would like to be allocated a different doctor as your named GP, please inform either the reception staff or your doctor and these requests can usually be accommodated.
Please also note that even though you have been allocated a named GP, you are still free to see any other doctor at this practice at any time.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY TEST
The Friends and Family Test is a very short survey which asks you to rate our practice and say whether you would recommend our services to your friends and family. The FFT takes only a few minutes to complete so if you are interested:
- Please ask for a card from your GP/nurse after consultation
- Ask at reception for a card
- Simply complete on this website by clicking on the "Friend and Family Test" link opposite this page.
PLEASE NOTE: The website will be providing regular updates of the number of completed surveys the practice has received. However we will not be publishing any individual patient comments on our website at this time and will inform you as soon as the situation changes.
The premises are suitable for disabled persons providing for wheelchair access and a disabled persons toilet.
Our practice fully supports mothers who wish to breastfeed their baby. This may be done in public areas but should you require some privacy, please ask a member of staff who will be happy to arrange a room for you.
Need some privacy?
Please inform a member of staff if you wish to breastfeed your baby in private or discuss a matter away from the main reception area.
